BUTTERFLY VALVE

The closing element in butterfly valves is a disk that rotates around a shaft placed on the vertical axis. When assembled, it creates a disk that opens or closes the entire pipe section by rotating around its own axis. Sealing is provided between the metal flap and the elastic or plastic sealing elements covering the inside of the body. The sealing element also serves as a gasket on the flange between the valve and the pipe.

The advantages of such valves are; low pressure loss, easy opening and closing, good sealing, light weight and taking up little space.

Ayvaz KV-9 Wafer Type Butterfly Valves should be checked whether the disk moves freely when they are assembled. The valve shaft can be in horizontal or vertical position. However, horizontal assembly should be preferred over DN300.

Ayvaz KV-9 Wafer Type Butterfly Valves are butterfly valves with ductile iron body designed for natural gas installations and in accordance with TSE.

BUTTERFLY VALVE

Butterfly valves are a versatile valve type used for opening and closing and flow rate adjustment. Due to their features such as taking up little space in the pipeline, excellent sealing feature, being easily and economically adaptable to automation, low pressure losses and being economical by providing sealing in both directions, they have reached a very wide usage rate in a short time since they were first designed in the 1960s.

Monitorable butterfly valves are one of the accessories related to the automatic sprinkler system. In order to ensure safety and avoid errors, a signal can be sent to the control section. Fire water pipe can be controlled with a monitorable butterfly valve.
